Here’s another band who has never received due credit for just how skilled they are, and has been stuck in obscurity for way too long. Masterfully bringing artsy ambient rock to the masses on Warped Tour stages for years, the band has truly been doing an honorable service by bringing some class to the uncultured heathens of this scene. Frontman Richard Perry’s sparkling vocal melodies perfectly compliment the mix of aggressive and spacey instrumentation of his band mates to make some epic, cinematic quality melodic rock. Perry’s skill with a cello also makes him one of very few Warped alums qualified to wield a string instrument in a rock band. I’ll, of course, leave it to you to piece together which bigger names don’t make the cut. - Brien Overly
