It’s October, which means that the old berry farm has been transformed into Knott’s Scary Farm. Come celebrate the 35th annual Halloween Haunt at “the world’s first, biggest and most famous theme park Halloween event!”

The Haunt consists of three terrifying haunted house mazes: Zombieville, Nightmare Factory and Extreme Madness. This is a screamfest for only the strongest willed.

The concept of a “Hell House” was picked up by Keenan Roberts of Destiny Church in the early 1990s and has since been sold to other churches as the “Hell House Outreach” kit so that they too can “show young people that they can go to Hell for abortion, adultery, homosexuality, drinking and other things unless they repent and end the behavior.”
Producer Brandee Stilwell (“Family Guy,” “Mad TV”) and associate producers Jacyln Lafer and Maggie Rowe have taken an actual Hell House kit as the basis for their satiric comedy that’ll take you to the depths of Hell. Described as “an ever-morphing rock & roll choir horror musical de macabre,” the performance troupe Discount Cruise to Hell presents their brand new Halloween musical, “Voyage to the Center of Hades.” In this “mythic glitter rock mini-musical,” the audience has booked passage on a third-rate cruise ship bound for the underworld.
Thankfully, there is some onboard entertainment from the Purgatory Posse. The players will fight, sing, dance and rock their way through all levels of Hades until they reach a “climatic ending of orgiastic proportions.”
Along the way you’ll come across the King of the Lotus Eaters, the Empress of Slaughter, the Hairy Yeti, the Sexy Siren’s Song and a cast of outrageous and indescribable characters. With a costume contest, special performances and prizes and drink giveaways all night, this is going to be one hell of a show!
