My thoughts and commments on Avatar. The visuals were out of this world. I feel bad for people who have to see the movie on an old screen because the screen i saw it on definitely detracted from the crispness of the film. Seeing this on Blue ray some day will be Incredible. The story was really lacking. I hate to say it but it is true. James named the ore they were mining on Pandora, "UnObtainium". I mean he had 15 years to think of a better name and that was what he went with....... But yeah the visuals, which is why we are going to see it, Are OUT of this World.

they said, maybe there's a chance to get it, even if you don't have a wristband, which we did'nt have...we waited till 730pm and got lucky. not everyone got into the overflow 2nd screening .. so yes, it sometimes pay to be patient and chill out among all that chaos..by the way the 3-d was amazing ..awesome film, plenty of reviews to read elsewhere..

Sean- I want to thank you and the Campus Circle staff. I had a fantastic time tonight. I went to the première not expecting to get in, but just for the chance to enjoy the night and maybe see a few celebrities. Being put right next to the 'blue' carpet was an added perk. I saw many celebrities walking in and got a few photos to prove it. I did not have a wristband, but there was plenty of tickets being handed out....and all I had to do was show up and watch celebrities walk the carpet to get a ticket to go to the premiere. The movie is fantastic!!! It's going to be huge. Thanks again for a great night.

I got word from Fred Mintchell that most of the Campus Circle people who showed up to the L.A. Premiere of Avatar got to see the film. That's great news. I would like to hear your thoughts on the film. Sign in to your Campus Circle account and let me know. Thanks. Sean

I can't wait to see what James Cameron has been up to since Titanic! I went to Avatar day a couple of months ago and was floored by the visceral experience of the fifteen minute clip. Damn those premiere tickets would be awesome. =D

are you serious?? only 10 winners will be picked AT the premier? this is insane! I would drive out there if I knew there was more of a chance that I would get in...like first come first served - like it usually is! Good luck to you who are taking a chance and going without a ticket!
