Deborah Thomas 1951-2012: Remembrance Exhibition

Avenue 50 Studio and the Southern California chapter of the Women's Caucus for Art (SCWCA) announce the opening of a community exhibition in honor of artist, educator and curator Deborah Thomas who passed away in December 2012. Large, lush abstract paintings from her days as a New York studio artist will hang alongside more current installations, writings and collaborative projects where she delved into photographs and text working with themes of family, found memory, landscape and the environment.
