Parque La Paloma & Sub Suelo

Mercado La Paloma will commemorate nearly twenty plus years by presenting “Parque La Paloma” as part of their popular community arts program, “Cultural Continuum.” In preparation for “Parque La Paloma,” The Mercado will reclaim and transform their parking lot into an accessible green space literally overnight for a community in dire need of nature. The ”pop-up” green space will feature local vendors, live mural painting, a petting zoo, artists doing face painting, balloon art and a basketball court . “Parque La Paloma” will on take on a different flavor in the evening as Mercado La Paloma welcomes the exciting Eastside global bass party, Sub Suelo. Best known for their popular residency at Boyle Heights’ trend-setting bar/music venue, “Eastside Luv y QueSo,” Sub Suelo will bring some Latin heat to The Mercado for an unforgettable evening of music and dance that will undoubtedly have people clapping their hands and moving their feet.
