Anthony Green

Someone who actually knows how to play his instruments and create a mood, we have none other than Circa Survive frontman Anthony Green. A seasoned veteran of the post-hardcore prog scene (I promise it’s a much bigger subgenre of rock than you think it is.), Green can do the catchy and mainstream-friendly thing with his brand of atmospheric rock, all without sacrificing the artistry or intellectualism he’s come to be known for. While his work with Circa has Green painting vast and sweeping sonic landscapes over his band’s epic jam-thrashing, though, his acoustic solo material shows an emotive vulnerability. - Brien Overly
