Indian Miniature Painting

Indian Miniature Painting examines the legacy of miniature painting in South Asia in conjunction with the exhibition Beyond the Page, in the main galleries, that introduces contemporary adaptation and interpretation of the miniature tradition. It features objects from the Museum’s collection created in the various city-states of Rajasthan and the Pahari region, and also borrows from local private collections.
