 I can’t even begin to say how stoked it makes me to see Cold War Kids playing a smaller L.A. venue, because at the core of the band’s music, it was built to be experienced in intimate spaces. Vocalist Nathan Willett is a master at understated and nuanced emotionality with his signature soulful indie style, and the Troub might be one of the best venues to capture it live.
