    Liberty Inn: The Musical

    Multi-award winning actor/director Dakin Matthews launches the world premiere of the musical in Los Angeles. Liberty Inn: The Musical is a full-length play adapted from Goldoni’s comic masterpiece La locandiera (“The Landlady”) by Dakin Matthews (book and lyrics) and B. T. Ryback (music). The play, set in post-colonial America, is a tuneful and rollicking courtship comedy with strong feminist themes. Deborah May and Norman Snow star as the wily American innkeeper and the misogynistic Hessian Captain in an intriguing ‘battle of the sexes,’ with 22 original songs.
