 This was another act that managed to win me over, despite my objections and/or better judgment. As much as listening to bands like Set Your Goals usually makes me feel increasingly disconnected from youth culture and ever closer to hosing kids off my jaded and nostalgic lawn, something about Set Your Goals manages to make me feel a little younger. They capture that feeling of fun and uninhibited pop punk from the early days, before it was such a rigidly defined moneymaking genre where all the bands took themselves way too seriously. These dudes just have a contagiously good time on stage when they play.
