Come join us for a travel adventure of a lifetime! Combine parts of the Peace Corps, Earthwatch and New Age Spirituality, and you get Global Eco-Spiritual Tours. In August, we will send one tour group to spend 10 days experiencing the environmental landscape and Buddhist culture of the Ladakh region deep in the Himalayan Mountains of northern India. A non-profit, tax-exempt organization, Global Eco-Spiritual Tours donates proceeds from the tour to schools and clinics in their tour region. The tour group will travel the region by jeep caravan and spend most nights in a Tibetan-style hotel. A few nights will be spent trekking and camping in the Himalayas. A potential bonus awaits all tour members if the Dalai Lama again makes his annual summer visit to Ladakh. We will make every effort to alter our schedule to see His Holiness at a public ceremony in Ladakh. The ECONEWS television series, from Southern California, is planning on filming a one hour show on our program this coming August! The series is aired on 70 stations nationwide in 25 states. |
