Bottom line: this is hateful and uninformative scribble by an actress, not a "critic". The performers mentioned above (Kalinda Gray and Eduardo Enriques) were stellar and wouldn't have been cast if they didn't possess the necessary chops for their respective roles. Kalinda Gray is the only Sally I've seen that really gives more shades to the character than what's written for her in the libretto. She's going to be the one to watch in the future. Also, the reviewer curiously failed to mention the brilliant performances given by the actors playing Fraulein Schneider and Herr Schultz. What is this reviewer thinking??? This is "CABARET"! The Kit Kat Klub is SUPPOSED to be this way! All four performers [as well as the rest of the cast] were absolutely give solid, dedication renditions of their characters, and it's unfathomable to think that they acted otherwise. Credit is due to the company for making such a positive stamp on the LA theater scene. Once again, bravo!!
