The web data company Alexa, which is updated daily, lists the world's 500 most popular sites. The ranking system is based on three months worth of information, consisting of criteria like a site's global reach and number of page views. To date, according to a report, Google.com is the most visited site, followed by Facebook.com, YouTube.com, Yahoo.com and Baidu.com.
