Ruthvik Peddavandla, Adithya Manjunath, and Javan Shah, three freshmen at the University of Southern California, created a "USC Memes" Facebook community page that went viral within several days. The creators invite Facebook users to post their own memes to be featured on the page and it already has over 5,600 likes. A meme can be fashion, a catch-phrase, or in this case, a photo, that transmits cultural ideas.
