The Vow, Safe House Top Record-Breaking Box-Office Weekend

The Vow and Safe House hit the theaters in cinema fashion this weekend, as both claimed over $39 million. They, along with Star Wars: Episode I -- The Phantom Menace and Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, broke a domestic record. For the first time since Christmas weekend of 2008, and for the first non-holiday weekend ever, four flicks debuted to more than $20 million.
