The Sunset Junction Neighborhood Alliance has officially filed for a Chapter 7 bankruptcy, as it was announced Thursday. This group had a last-minute cancellation of the 30-year-old Sunset Junction Street Festival in Silver Lake in 2011, and it still owes several music artists booking fees. It includes $24,000 to Butthole Surfers, $22,000 to Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and $20,000 to Ozomatli, among several others.
