Looking for a fun way to give back? Sign up for Walk MS, an annual event that raises money for the National MS Society.

The National MS Society is dedicated to eliminating multiple sclerosis, a debilitating chronic disease that attacks the body’s central nervous system. The group funds cutting-edge research, drives change through advocacy, facilitates professional education, and provides programs and services that help people with MS and their families improve their lives.

This year’s Greater Los Angeles Walk will be taking place on April 15 at the Pasadena Rose Bowl. The 5K walk brings out thousands of Southern Californians to raise funds to find a cure for multiple sclerosis. There will also be entertainment on the route and at the finish with food, music, jugglers, face painters, team booths, fun give-a-ways and more.

Sign up as an individual walker or as a team (six people or more) online at http://walkcal.nationalmssociety.org/. Unlike most fundraising walks, there is no minimum donation to participate –pledge as little as $5 to walk for an amazing cause.
