Juneau, AK – This summer, Alaskan Brewing Company is offering the chance
of a lifetime to six college students and recent grads from universities throughout
the Western U.S. For four weeks, the Alaskan Summer Six Pack will be spokesmen
and women for the Alaskan brand, contributing to the brewery’s marketing
strategy, modeling Alaskan gear for their online catalog and representing the
brewery at public events. Successful candidates will travel to Juneau, Alaska,
for two weeks of onsite projects and after-hours wilderness adventure before
returning to their hometown for two more weeks on the streets with their local
Alaskan Brew Crew.
In exchange for each brand spokespersons work, he/she will receive the
frontline experience of a lifetime along with $5,000 for school. Best of all,
each spokesperson will have the opportunity for an Alaskan adventure such as
glacier trekking, sport fishing, floatplane flight-seeing, bear watching or
dog mushing on a glacier.
"For the first time, Alaskan Brewing Company is thrilled to offer this
ultimate summer opportunity to students and recent grads in the Western States
of the lower 48," says Kristi Monroe, marketing communications director
for Alaskan Brewing Company. Most students spend the summers working typical
summer jobs to save money. Were able to take summer jobs one step further:
not only will students be rewarded financially for their work this summer, theyll
receive a phenomenal life experience living as an Alaskan."
