At DWF, every aspect of the festival is driven by an unflinching slogan: “No politics. No stars. No sh*t.” The result puts great material in front of powerful people and truly allows a filmmaker’s work to speak for itself. DWF’s success comes not from a slew of big “names” populating its red carpet but from a formidable list of career launches. Some of this year's talent include: Cary Elwes, Joey Lauren Adams, Carol Kane, Sonia Braga, Christopher Lloyd, David DeLuise, Tom Arnold, Tara Reid, Ryan Hansen, Will Estes (Blue Bloods), Taylor Handley (Vegas) and Skylar Day (Parenthood) to name a few.
