Sunrise
An eclectic evening featuring the Cabeza de Vaca Orchestra’s newly composed, site-specific score to F.W. Murnau’s classic silent film Sunrise. The piece will incorporate songs by Nora Keyes, micro-arkestras and percussive obelisks, as well as the space itself. The night of music and dance dedicated to the sun also features a performance by Qualia Dance Theater, a solo performance by Guy Blakeslee of the Entrance Band, visual art by Astral Eyes, musical sculpture by Lazer, projections by The Mystery Machine, and tunes by DJ Don Bolles.
