I usually tend to only like my indie folk music in small dive-y clubs, playing to similarly small crowds, but I suppose when your particular brand of indie folk is of the big-sounding, orchestral, Rufus-Wainwright-on-a-road-trip-through-the-American-Midwest variety, you’re going to need something a little bigger than those kinds of venues to contain it.
