In October 2012, "Iris" was ranked #1 on Billboard's "Top 100 Pop Songs 1992-2012" chart, which also featured Goo Goo Dolls hits "Slide" at #9, and "Name" at #24. The Goo Goo Dolls are the only act to have three songs chart on the list. Conversely, 2 of Matchbox Twenty's biggest hits, "Push" and "3 A.M.," did not chart on the Billboard Hot 100 chart due to the rule in effect prior to 1998 that required a song to be released as a single in order to appear on the Hot 100.
