Thousands of locals will compete in this messy, adrenaline pumping event that tests runners’ fitness and sense of adventure on a 5K course with 12 mud pits, rolling hills and professionally built obstacles. Teams wear wild, matching costumes to add to the flair of the Mud Run and live bands, food and a beer garden make the post-race party one you won’t want to miss. The event benefits the Gavin R. Stevens Foundation whose mission is to help blind and visually impaired persons and find a cure for Leber’s Congenital Amoroursis.
