With so many underrated musicians on one stage, I had a bit of a fan-gasm when I found out all three of these acts would be on one bill. Then I actually looked at all the details, and realized first that it’s in Anaheim (sorry, Orange County, thanks but no). And it’s sponsored by PacSun (Pacific Sunwear, if you’re feeling nostalgic to like, 2003). And none of these acts actually sound very similar (no snark here, it’s just truth). But be that as it may, all three of said acts are also very awesome. I fear my instinctual responses will not be able to adapt to such rapid environmental changes between sets, but if Al Gore speaks of my struggles in his next press conference, it might be worth it. Really though, kids, climate change is no joke. Cue “The More You Know” shooting star graphic ... unless of course you’re Sarah Palin. Zing! I swear that last bit came about without any intention of making a bad pun off Eye Alaska’s name. Really. - Brien Overly
