On October 16, 2014, at the Philadelphia comedy club, The Trocadero, Buress was video recorded doing an extended bit about rape allegations pertaining to Bill Cosby. The story about the recorded comedy routine was quickly picked up by various publications and immediately caused numerous news reports detailing decades worth of sexual abuse allegations against Cosby.
