Rufus Wainwright

When so many other singer-songwriter types are banking on excessive personalities and over-the-top stage shows as their shtick to reel in crowds, it’s nice to see one who’s mature and classy enough to just let his music speak for itself. And though he’s eccentric in his own way, there’s a silent confidence Wainwright exudes on stage that screams “GQ mofo” as he croons away and works his magic on the ivory. - Brien Overly
