Halos

I hate to do this to you twice in one week, sending you to another show for one great band flanked by a bunch of randoms I don’t care about in the lineup, but y’all have to get on the bandwagon with these guys somehow. Again, I first caught them play in an Italian restaurant that inexplicably doubles as a bar and live music venue, and somehow, they rocked the hell out of that place. At times dark and brooding, at times big and sweeping, Halos’ brand of guitar and keyboard-driven indie rock can do both epic and intimate without problem. - Brien Overly
