    Festival of the Kite

    Festival of the Kite

    L.A.’s best and longest-running kite festival where prizes are awarded for the best hand-made kite, best ground display, highest flying kite, and the youngest and youngest-at-heart kite flyers. Other highlights include a martial arts demonstration and live music throughout the day. The festival will culminate with a mass kite ascension flight on the South beach adjacent to the pier.
