After many attempts over the years of writing this column, I’m still a bit at a loss for how to attempt to pin down this band’s shtick for anyone who’s not already familiar with their work. Psychedelic-jam-indie-folk … ish, kind of …? These guys are all over the place with their sound, but somehow manage to make their genre-hopping legitimately cohesive. Whether you like your rock Southern-fried classic style or progressively spacey and atmospheric, these guys have a jam for you. - Brien Overly
