The Drop: John Legend and The Roots

R&B singer, John Legend and hip hop band, The Roots will discuss their new album WAKE UP!, a collection of soulful songs from the 60’s and 70’s.  In the intimate setting of the Museum’s 200 seat Clive Davis Theater, Legend and The Roots will sit down for an onstage interview with Executive Director Robert Santelli to talk about how their collaboration came about and the inspiration behind it, working together for the first time and the impact they hope the album will have on listeners today.  Following the interview, the group will take questions from the audience before performing a selection of songs off the album.
