Roald Dahl's "Willy Wonka"

Many of you will remember the movie “Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory” which starred Gene Wilder and featured such songs as “The Candy Man” and “Pure Imagination.” Well, Roald Dahl’s story of the world-famous candy man and his quest to find an heir, comes to life in the Canyon Theatre Guild’s production of “Willy Wonka” which features not only the songs from the original movie, but several new ones as well. Of course, children all over the world are in a frenzy to find those Golden Tickets. Poor Charlie Bucket (Dylan Harris), who lives with his impoverished parents and grandparents, doesn’t have the money to buy candy bars, so he resigns himself to never seeing the inside of the magical chocolate factory.
