The all-1980's pop music program, punctuated by compelling video clips and show-stopping choreography by Ray Leeper, both tongue-in-cheek and poignant, reflects upon this transformational and complex decade of fun and tragedy, delight and devastation. GMCLA adds its unique perspective on the era with Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" and The Weather Girls' "It's Raining Men,” and finds deeper meaning in Michael Jackson's "Thriller," Depeche Mode's "People Are People" and Pat Benatar's “We Belong.”
