O.A.R./JACK’S MANNEQUIN@ Wiltern
Friday night, bands O.A.R. (short for Of A Revolution) and Jack’s Mannequin rock the socks off the Wiltern in Los Angeles.  Well, sort of.  O.A.R. is an indie-rock band, while Jack’s Mannequin is the side project of Something Corporate songwriter Andrew McMahon.  While it may not rock Metallica style, the show should make for a solid Friday night.  Tickets are $28 on www.ticketmaster.com.  The Wiltern is located at 3790 Wilshire Blvd in L.A.

THE STREETS @ Henry Fonda Theater
British rapper Mike Skinner, aka the Streets, leads the UK rap invasion along with MIA and Dizzee Rascal. Skinner grabs the mike tonight at the Music Box at the Fonda.  Now into his third album, Skinner’s The Hardest Way To Make An Easy Living debuted at NO. 1 in England.  When Skinner gets into his flow, he gives other famous white rapper, Eminem, a run for his money. LOS ANGELES GLBT PRIDE FESTIVAL
One of the nation’s largest gay and lesbian pride festivals starts on June 10, and continues through the weekend.  Performers include Berlin, the Bangles, and Taylor Dayne.  While last year’s grand marshall of the event was Paris Hilton, this year’s marshall is still TBD.  The Parade begins at 11a.m. on Sunday.  Be prepared: traffic will be a nightmare, considering parts of Melrose, San Vicente, Robertson, and Santa Monica will all be sectioned off.  The event takes place at Hollywood Park.  Admission is $15.

WUMPSKATE @ World on Wheels

CINEMASCOPE AT THE CINEMATHEQUE @ Egyptian & AeroTheatres
From June 12-17, the American Cinematheque is running its Cinemascope series.  Check out classic films all shot with the “scope” aspect ratio, providing larger than life images on the screen. This Sunday starts with Violence Saturday at 7:30 p.m. followed up with Barrabba, both of which are Robert Fleischer films.  Films screen at both the Egyptian Theatre and the Aero.  The Egyptian is located at 6712 Hollywood Blvd near Mann’s Chinese Theatre.  The Aero is located in Santa Monica.  For more information, go to www.americancinematheque.com.
