Starting today and continuing through the first of July, Westwood hosts the Los Angeles Film Festival.  The 10-day, 11-night event features more than hundreds of films as well as activities that are focused on filmmaking and life within the industry.  Keynote speakers, seminars and other events are offered throughout the entire Festival,  which are all geared towards bringing aspiring filmmakers in contact with the Hollywood power players.  Downtown Westwood is located near the UCLA campus off of the I-10 Freeway.  The L.A. Friday, June 23
Starting today and continuing through Sunday, the Los Angeles Convention Center hosts the Erotica-LA adult entertainment convention.  With over 300 exhibits from all major industry personnel, the weekend also boasts special guest and adult entertainment star Jenna Jameson and rocker Dave Navarro.  Other attractions include a stripper showdown, free giveaways, lingerie, potions and more.  For details and ticket info, go to  The L.A.
