station has done it again: The bill for at least one day of KROQ's annual
holdiay event is a must-see for any serious LA music fan. KROQ's thrown
some huge shows as part of their Almost Acoustic Christmas events over
the years, but this year's lineup could top them all. There are, at
least five bands that could headline Gibson Amphitheatre on their own.
On the first night of two, performers include Korn, Fall Out Boy, Thrice,
Rise Against and Avenged Sevenfold. The show's been sold out for weeks

its songs with subtle touches that hint to its technical musical skill.
Sampled sounds, and complex beats belie a desire to create something

the way that it works its way into your body and won't let go. The title
of the band's latest disc, A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out, too aptly
describes its style, which is so catchy that it makes my teeth hurt.
