A Mulholland Christmas Carol @ Sacred Fools Theatre Co.
Imagine if you will the Roman Polanski masterpiece
Chinatown mixed in with the equally classic Charles Dickens story
“The Christmas Carol”. Poured out of the literary blender
is “A Mulholland Christmas Carol.” The scrooge in this
satirical tale is William Mulholland; the DWP engineer seized the water
out of the Owen’s Valley to crate the sprawl that is Los Angeles.
It will be a night Mr. Mulholland will never forget. Sacred Fools
Theatre Co. is located at 660 North Heliotrope Drive in Los Angeles.

Me First and the Gimme Gimmes @ The Fonda
We know the popular Los Angeles outfit Camp Freddy
that is composed of Dave Navarro and the Cult’s Billy Morrison.
But for sheer punk cover rawness look no further than Me First and the
Gimme Gimmes, who have covered the likes of Elton John to Styx, and
even such traditional songs as Hava Nagila. Like Camp Freddy, the
Gimmes are composed of some of the finest in punk rawk like Fat Mike
from NOFX and Chris Shiflett who was originally in No Use for A Name
and now rocks the flying v with the Foo Fighters. In support of
their new album Love Their Country, the Gimmes will rock The Fonda with their covers
of classic country songs. One hopes that they’ll play their
reinterpretation of the Dolly Parton masterpiece
“Jolene”

Hunky Santa @ Beverly
Center
Santa Claus never looked like this before. The
beard, red coat and bulging belly are gone making way for six-pack of
abs, designer Italian boots and a form-fitting top. The Hunky Santa
phenomenon has been featured on talk shows and in magazines like the
Wall Street Journal. And while this one will definitely not for the
kids, it’d be for the young at heart who still enjoy a good photo
op with Santa. Beverly Center is located at 8500 Beverly Blvd. in Los
Angeles. For more information visit www.beverlycenter.com.

Whenever you’re on the corner of Cahuenga and
Hollywood in Los Angeles, one of the first things that you must do is

street performer. And who knows you might get to see all three at Meet
at the Beauty Bar. DJs Blake and C Town will help cure your Tuesday
blues with a little bit of new wave, '80s, italo disco and indie rock.
