Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton joined the "Twitterverse" (or the "Twittersphere," whichever you prefer) today when she sent her first tweet.

“Thanks for the inspiration @ASmith83 & @Sllambe - I'll take it from here... #tweetsfromhillary,” Clinton tweeted.

Clinton joins her husband Bill after he made the jump into social media in early April.
