This MTV Unplugged DVD brings new light to Katy Perry’s catchy music that we all know of and love. It’s the first time we hear “I Kissed a Girl” in a ballad that really encourages her voice range, and we are able to see the real artist within.

Perry’s music has taken girls through the hardest break-ups and through trying new things, but more than anything, her music reinforces that we are all not so different and that we even share certain experiences in life. MTV is aware of her impact as well as her talent, which you can clearly see throughout the DVD showcase.
