Kung Fu: The Complete First Season stars Olivia Liang (Dating After College, Legacies) as Nicky Shen in the reimagined version of the legendary 1970s series, which finds a young Chinese-American woman protecting her community and bringing criminals to justice. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will release all 13 episodes of the new action-adventure series on Blu-ray™ and DVD November 2, 2021. Kung Fu: The Complete First Season is priced to own at $19.99 SRP for the DVD and $24.99 SRP for the Blu-ray™ which includes Digital Copy (US only). Kung Fu: The Complete First Season is also available to own on Digital via purchase from digital retailers and to stream exclusively on HBO Max starting August 20, 2021. 

A quarter-life crisis causes young Chinese-American woman Nicky Shen to drop out of college and journey to an isolated monastery in China. But when she returns to San Francisco, she finds her hometown is overrun with crime and corruption and her parents are at the mercy of a powerful Triad. Nicky will right wrongs while searching for the assassin who killed her Shaolin mentor.

Yvonne Chapman (Street Legal) recurs as Zhilan Zhang.

Christina M. Kim (BlindspotNCIS: Los Angeles) wrote the pilot episode and serves as executive producer/co-showrunner of the series with Robert Berens (Supernatural). Greg Berlanti (Doom PatrolThe Flash), Sarah Schechter (Superman and Lois, The Flash), Martin Gero (Blindspot) and David Madden (Superman and Lois) also serve as executive producers. Kung Fu is produced by Berlanti Productions and Quinn’s House in association with Warner Bros. Television, and is inspired by the original series created by Ed Spielman.
