An interview segment with each band precedes their concert footage, and members of Children of Bodom warn that if you ever meet them backstage there is a good chance you’ll find them and their whole crew completely naked.
Mastodon performs “Capillarian Crest,” “Crystal Skull” and “Blood and Thunder,” while Lamb of God asks the audience to form a circle pit during their performance of “Vigil.” The circle starts out relatively small but eventually engulfs most of the floor in a show of crowd participation that is not matched during the headliner’s set.
Slayer does what they do best – no talkin’ and lots of rockin’. The old-school metal-men thrash the crowd into oblivion with a 10-song set including “South of Heaven,” “Hell Awaits,” “The Anti-Christ” and “Angel of Death.”
