If chaos is measured in ear curdling screams, then you have more than just a taste on this DVD. During the spring of 2005, the creators of the Vans Warped Tour put together a surprisingly affordable hardcore tour, allowing more than 200,000 fans across the United States and Canada to see an assault of screamo bands on the Taste of Chaos tour.

The tour DVD takes fans behind the scenes to experience more than just the onstage anarchy. Sprinkled between songs from bands like headliner the Used, My Chemical Romance, Nicky P and Atreyu are band interviews, pre-show rituals and a view of life on the road with the groups. The professionally shot aerial views allow glimpses of the sea of crowd-surfers without the need for Dramamine. And, the comical definitions from metal fans and "the pit" are worth the time spent not fast-forwarding through commentary.

As for the music, the lyrics leave a lot for the imagination to translate. Beyond the yelling is an onslaught of impressive guitar riffs and drum solos that may otherwise go unnoticed on CD.

The DVD makes a nice marketing tool for the tour, leaving fans with just enough random facts and insight to want to taste a little live chaos for themselves.
