This DVD contains about an hour of archival footage of sicko-rockers the Mentors. Actually these guys were relatively tame as far as shock value goes; mostly they had their fun being naughty singing about sex, getting drunk and getting drunk and having sex. So their lyrics matched their playing – blunt and sloppy.

But therein lies their “charm;” everyone should hear their pervy “On the Rag,” “Golden Showers” and “When You’re Horny You’re Horny” at least once in their life. And thanks to this film you can see them too, along with a few other videos.

Everything here looks like it was shot by a tipsy frat boy; herky-jerky camera work with lots of zoom shots on the lady parts, and this is the same type of audience that will most appreciate what the Mentors had going on.

The band carries on today without him but all of the videos and concert snippets here feature the late drummer/lead singer/ringmaster El Duce (Eldon Hoke) who passed away a decade ago.

Did I mention that the band always wore conical hat-masks and often little else? Oh yeah!
