My favorite heart construction is the one of figs. But all of the arrangements that flood these pages are incredible demonstrations of love from renowned DJ and nightclub promoter, Page Hodel, to her sweetheart, Madalene.

Each Monday, Hodel would leave a different creatively crafted heart on their doorstep for Madalene to discover on her way to work. Sadly, Madalene passed away from ovarian cancer soon after the two fell in love.
