Griffin House’s The Learner displays true artistry with his pleasant voice, serene musical compositions and exquisite, vivid lyrics. His songs are mostly about the one he couldn’t get, the one who makes him ponder and the one he hopes to one day be with. The musician-songwriter gets sentimental, but keeps it manly.
On this release, House didn’t hold anything back, which is good because it turned out to be an excellent, noteworthy album. All 12 songs are enjoyable and arranged in such a way that evokes a range of emotions. For starters, listen to “If You Want To” followed by “Feels So Right” and “Just Another Guy.” Then, hit replay.
