Cirque du Soleil is offering students "rush" tickets to see IRIS at the Kodak Theatre for $25.00. In order to redeem these special discounted tickets, students need to visit the Kodak Theatre Box Office one hour prior to the show. Students must have a student ID with them to purchase these tickets.
Student rush tickets are only available at box office. Cash purchase only and student I.D. required. 1 ticket per order. Tickets are subject to a $3 facility fee. Valid Tuesday – Thursday performances only. Only available one hour prior to performance. Restrictions may apply. Subject to availability. Cannot be combined with any other offer.

About the show:
This new production from Cirque du Soleil is a lyrical, fanciful, kinetic foray into the seventh art. Bringing together dance, acrobatics, live video, filmed sequences and animation, the show takes spectators on a fantastic voyage through the history of cinema and its genres, taking them into the heart of the movie-making process. From illustration to animation, black and white to color, silent films to talkies, fixed shots to swooping camera movements, spectators witness the poetic construction/deconstruction of this art as an object and as a way of transcending reality.

The show is ongoing but will close for two months on January 23, 2012 returning on March 24, 2012. Student rush tickets are not available during the holiday period (now through 12/31).
