Spend a delicious and fun day at the 29th annual California Strawberry Festival, taking place at Strawberry Meadows of College Park in Oxnard on May 19 and 20.
For almost three decades, the Strawberry Festival has been gracing Southern California with a weekend of summer bliss.
Strawberry lovers will find themselves in two days of heaven as they discover over 40 booths serving a plethora of fresh strawberries and strawberry creations, including strawberry pizza, deep-fried strawberries, chocolate dipped strawberries and even strawberry beer.
Aside from the tempting food, festival-goers of all ages will find a variety of entertainment. The festival will abound with an array of musicians playing live concerts, ranging from reggae and ska to Latin pop to big band. Enjoy over 250 award-winning arts and crafts exhibits, and take a stroll down Strawberry Promenade to watch celebrity chef demonstrations, recipe competitions and healthy lifestyle presentations. Kids will be delighted to play in Strawberryland, enjoying free rides, juggling acts, puppet shows and more. Feeling competitive? Challenge your appetite in the Strawberry Pie Eating Contest or try your hand in the Tart Toss. Be sure not to miss the Green Screen, which offers interactive exhibits that showcase simple ways to integrate eco-friendly lifestyle choices that can positively impact our environment.
The Strawberry Festival has been serving the Southland community since its inception. One hundred percent of proceeds from food booths go directly to benefit local charity organizations, and more than $3.5 million has been raised since the festival began.

The California Strawberry Festival will take place May 19 and 20 from 10:00 a.m.-6:30 p.m. at Strawberry Meadows of College Park, 3250 S. Rose Ave., Oxnard, CA.
