Enjoy free live music at a beautiful venue all summer long starting this Saturday, May 19. Saturdays Off the 405, an annual concert series held at the Getty Museum, kicks off the season with pop-punk-rock band Dum Dum Girls and a DJ set from Neil Scheid of Origami Vinyl. Past performances have featured Best Coast, Surfer Blood and the Antlers.

Feel a shimmer of magic in the air on these gorgeous summer nights as you take in the scenic LA views and mingle with an eclectic crowd while you dance to what might just be your new favorite band. Get there early to avoid the hectic traffic (be sure to take 405 construction into consideration) and grab a light meal at The Garden Terrace Café, splurge on a fine-dining experience at The Restaurant, or pack a picnic and sip on a Getty-tini. Take a guided 20-minute Spotlight After Dark Tour through the galleries, and finish just in time to catch the beginning of the band’s set.

Saturdays Off the 405 make for an ideal date night or night out with friends. After your first concert, you’ll be hooked on this unique cultural experience. The second and third sessions will feature Allen Stone on June 16, and Janka Nabay and the Bubu Gang on July 14, with the rest of the summer’s line-up to be announced.
