Latin music star Jenni Rivera died in a plane crash Sunday morning in Mexico, American aviation authorities confirmed Monday. According to the Los Angeles Times, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) issued a statement that all seven people aboard the small plane "were fatally injured, including Latin singer Jenni Rivera." The NTSB is sending investigators to Mexico to assist with the investigation, the agency said. Rivera, 43, was a Long Beach native who attended California State University, Long Beach and lived in Encino, Calif.
