Mountain High, located in Wrightwood, Calif., is scheduled to re-open this coming weekend. The weather forecast is calling for a powerful winter storm to reach SoCal Wednesday afternoon, producing colder temperatures and 6-to-10 inches of natural snow. Combined with machine-made snow from Mountain High’s enormous snowmaking system, the Wrightwood resort is expected to re-open sometime between Friday and Sunday.

“We’ve been waiting for a change in the weather and with fresh snow and the best snowmaking conditions of the season, Mountain High will be open just in time for the holidays,” said General Manager Ben Smith in a prepared statement.

Mountain High is Southern California’s closest winter resort located just an hour and a half from Los Angeles and Orange County. For more information on Mountain High, visit mthigh.com.
