Ann Curry, who is an NBC News correspondent, recently inspired #26Acts of Kindness as a trending topic via Twitter. Why did she do it? To inspire acts of kindness after the tragic happenings of Newtown, Conn. But Curry's experience in acts of kindness dates back to when she was reporting on the genocide in Darfur in 2007. At that time in Darfur, Curry provided joy to many when she gave Polaroid pictures of children to mothers who had never held a photograph of their kids before.
